Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your Kilimanjaro climb begins with your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our friendly and professional team will be waiting to welcome you. We will transfer you to your hotel in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Take this time to acclimatize to the Tanzanian climate and get to know your fellow climbers.

Day 2: Machame Gate to Machame Camp
After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the Machame Gate, the starting point of our trek. Here, we will complete the necessary registration and obtain permits before embarking on our journey. The trek to Machame Camp takes approximately 5-6 hours, passing through lush rainforests and offering stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival at Machame Camp, we will set up camp for the night.

Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp
Wake up to the crisp mountain air and enjoy a warm breakfast before we continue our ascent. Today, we will trek from Machame Camp to Shira Camp, situated at an altitude of 3,840 meters. The trail will take us through moorland, offering breathtaking vistas of the Shira Plateau. This 4-6 hour trek provides an excellent opportunity to acclimatize to the increasing altitude.

Day 4: Shira Camp to Barranco Camp
Our journey continues as we leave Shira Camp behind and make our way to Barranco Camp. The trail today is a mix of rocky paths and stunning alpine desert scenery. As we ascend higher, you may start to feel the effects of the altitude, but our experienced guides will be there to assist you every step of the way. The trek to Barranco Camp takes approximately 6-7 hours.

Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
Today’s trek is relatively short but challenging as we conquer the Barranco Wall. This exhilarating climb requires some scrambling, but the reward is well worth it. The views from the top are absolutely breathtaking! After conquering the wall, we will continue to Karanga Camp, situated at an altitude of 4,035 meters. This 3-4 hour trek allows for further acclimatization and rest.

Day 6: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
As we near the summit, the landscape transforms into a rocky and lunar-like terrain. Today’s trek takes us from Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp, our final camp before the summit push. This 3-4 hour trek will allow ample time for rest and preparation for the challenging climb ahead. Take this time to recharge and mentally prepare for the ultimate Kilimanjaro experience.

Day 7: Summit Day! Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
The day you’ve been waiting for has arrived! We will begin our climb to the summit, Uhuru Peak, in the early hours of the morning. The trek is physically and mentally demanding, but with determination and our expert guides by your side, reaching the summit is within your reach. As the sun rises, you will be rewarded with awe-inspiring views from the rooftop of Africa. After celebrating your achievement, we will descend to Mweka Camp, where we will spend our final night on the mountain.

Day 8: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate
After a well-deserved rest, we will continue our descent to Mweka Gate, where you will receive your well-earned certificate of accomplishment. From here, we will transfer you back to Arusha, where you can enjoy a hot shower and celebrate your incredible achievement.
